Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity for brands to connect with Latino audiences and celebrate their culture.

This year, McDonald’s invited Hispanic fans to express their pride in being “Latino.” As loud as they liked. Literally.

To that end, we developed McDonald’s first voice-activated lens for Snapchat.

When the lens user says or screams the keyword “Latino,” a celebratory animation is activated, with music, background, and confetti, which allows the lens users to have their own “party,” which they can record and share with friends.

This year, McDonald’s fans could celebrate their Latinity by using their voice to say, loud and proud, “I’m Latino!!”
